Formerly known as Stroke of Luck. We started out almost a year ago when E.R. (drums) and E.P(rhythm guitar) wanted to start a little band just to hang out with cool people and write some good music. From there we almost immediately thought of cory, who weve known for almost 10 years, to play guitar with us. Ben was found a few weeks after that working at a summer camp with E.R. from that point 8FS as we would come to be known was formed.
We have gone through 5 vocalists and now are on our sixth, the much loved lead guitarist Cory. Since we lost Gabe in Nov. 04 We have been writing new songs non-stop trying to get them ready to be recorded on our first demo some time in the next month. We have also been playing shows at least once or twice a month, just to keep our name on everybodys brain before we can start playing bigger shows.
When I said on the front page that the band was undescribeable, i simply meant that our style is unlike anything else i have heard before. The reason for that is because we all come from completely different backgrounds. We mix elements of punk, metal, funk,and classic rock together to come up with a crazy sound.
